In-depth safety analysis
The extension requests permissions for storage, tabs, tabGroups, sidePanel, favicon, commands, and bookmarks. These allow it to read and manage all open tabs, organize tab groups, use the browser's side panel, access page favicons, set keyboard shortcuts, and interact with bookmarks. This scope is normal and necessary for a vertical tab manager that lives in the side panel.
Like any tab management tool, this extension can see the URLs and titles of every open page. A careful user should ensure the source is trustworthy and that the permissions align with the stated functionality. The developer declares that data is not sold or used for unrelated purposes, which is positive, but any extension with broad tab access merits a moment of review before installation.
The safety score of 86/100 (Grade A) highlights strong maintenance and ownership (100%), indicating the extension is actively updated and its provenance is clear. The weakest dimension is Publisher & Identity (60%), meaning the developer's public identity is less robustly verified, though the high scores in data privacy and community reputation offset that concern.
